Learning Sequence:

At Carpet:

Show intro videos each time from each category of NM (history,climate, etc)

1.Present Powerpoint of NM show the first three slides

2. While presenting the PowerPoint to students show how

each slide has image and information that match.Student

will use no more thatn 3 sentences for each symbol slide

(Main Idea, Detail, evidence)

3. Review (Student Links on the right)

Review how they can use Search Engine: Kiddle

Discuss digital Citizenship

Review keywords and + as the operator in search box.

Class Dojo Avatar Contest

Students will use paper/pencil/markers

to create a new character for the Class Dojo contest...They will use the design process from Class Dojo and then submit their drawing.

Once they have made a character they will name it and write a short story with the new character using narrative story format...
