7 Habits
In our school we are Leaders and Learners. We use the 7 Habits
Talk to the students about what it means to Be Proactive: taking initiative, taking responsibility for your actions and emotions, and focusing on things you can do something about. Discuss how being proactive can be helpful every day—at home and at school. What are some behaviors that would show you are being proactive? As the students brainstorm a list, write the behaviors on the board.
Give an example of how this looks like on a Word document. Have students type in their Habit's characteristics on a word document before they open Tagxedo. Then the students will copy and paste to Tagxedo...
- Remember to make a word large repeat it 3 to 5 times
- To keep words/sentences together use a tilde ~ before and after each word
~Make~good~choices~
Break up into buddies and create a word cloud for each habit! Only one student will work on the computer the other students will get on the other computer if they need to look through the resources to find the characteristics of their habit. Must have at least 6 traits for each habit....
