3. Learning Sequence:
Week #1 April
Introduce Animal Research Project
(using a class list from the notebook next to computer go to the first grade class and use the class list to write down an animal name...Begin with the A's make sure that student has never heard of his/her animal. Make sure it is only a MAMMAL.
3. Go to Livebinder and go to A-Z animals on the tabs. Select animal together.
4.Students will go to computer and you will walk them step by step on the week by week slide. Show them what to do then have them do it.
Make sure they login in with their last name/first name/lunchnumber
5. You will show Students how to fill out first two slides with you....

PowerPoint Slides will have the following Five Required Animal Facts. Each week we will learn how to research and save image for each slide category.
Week #2 April 21-30
1. What is the appearance? (What does it look like?)
2. What are its characteristics? (What it is like?)
Week #3 May 7
3. Where is it found? (what part of the world can you find your animal?)
4. What is its habitat? (Where does it live?)
Week #4 May 14
5.What is its diet? (What does it eat?)
Week#5..
6. What are three interestings facts? (What is special?)

Student will use the livebinder below tobeginanimal research
project.
1. Open your Animal Research PowerPoint and Firefox side by side.
Use the Livebinder to select your animal. Go to A to Z Animals first. Animal Research Project Livebinder.
2.Create your PowerPoint. Complete the title slide and the Name of your animal slide.Drag the picture of your animal to that slide.
3.Continue researching your animal using the PowerPoint Template
4. Use Kiddle search engine for more images
