1. GROUP ACTIVITY:   

• SIOP: Building Background Knowledge-Have students share how they celebrate Halloween, Fall
  
•  Starfall Pumpkin will be read first. 

• Do the Smartboard Pumpkin activity then watch how a seed grows. Seed to Flower  or

Seed to Flower1  and   Time Lapse Radish Seeds 

• The Mighty book on Autumn will be read Mighty Book Autumn 
• We will discuss Fall...harvest, celebrations, Halloween, Trick-or- Treating
•  We will then do the Halloween Safety Quiz-Trick or Treat Safety Game

2. Laptop Activity:

• Then we will go to individual laptop computers and the students can select from the various Fall/Halloween Activities on the MV Tech Lab site.

TECH LESSON

1. GROUP ACTIVITY: Starfall

• SIOP: Building Background Knowledge-Tell the students about who I am, my

family, my pets, etc.

• The students will use Starfall to do Who Am I? so that I will know

each of the students. 

• Introduce students at: Computer Growing with Technology

2. Laptop Activity:

• The students will be introduced to the parts of a computer. They

will begin with the mouse and use mouse practice activities.
