TECH STUDENT 

Learning Goal:

TSW will identify home row keys and practice keyboarding skills.

TSW be able to identify and use the basic tools in PowerPoint.

TSW will create a Student Lead Conference PowerPoint using the students'leadership notebook data.

NETS:     

Creativity and Innovation = 

        TSW will create a Student Lead Conference PowerPoint. 

     Technology Operations and Concepts = 

         Students will learn how to use the basic tools in PowerPoint 

 Safety-Net Vocabulary:

New Presentation, Copy, Paste, Save, Themes, Format, Open, File-Save As,

Desktop, Dock, Exit Program, Quit Program, Log-out.

Learning Sequence:

AT the carpet:

1. The teacher will review Saftety-Net vocabulary

2. The teacher will discuss what data  the student's will be using for their presentation

3. The teacher will download the SLC POWERPOINT template

4. The teacher will demonstrate the PowerPoint Tools one slide at a time as a whole group

At the Computers:

1. TSW download the template
2. TSW will work as a group one slide at a time while the teacher demonstrates
3. TSW will make individual changes in themes, images, fonts.... 
4. As students are finishing their PowerPoints, Ms. Pincomb will use a flashdrive and will save all PPT's to the flashdrive.
5. Transfer to Pincomb's main computer and give to homeroom teacher to use.
