LEARNING GOAL: 

• TSW  discuss the computer terms: click, double-click,back button, menu.

• TSW also discuss zoo animals: parrot, giraffe, hippopotamus, elephant, (BUILDING BACKGROUND KNOWLEDGE)
  

• TSW will create a Wild Self on website Build your wild self.

• TSW identify and use three basic paint tools to create their own "Animal for a Day!" pencil/paint can/undo

• Review colors with creating a color/object book using paint tools.

Lesson Sequence:

1. Optional: (Story online)ME AND MY CAT. TSW listen to an online story. Use DRTA prior to listening to story.
2. You can check on the animals at San Diego Zoo for a virtual animal field trip.

1. Now TSW will go to the student links to the right if you want an alternate lesson,  or you can proceed with the following plans.
2. TSW  create an animal for one day on Kerpoof.(Listen to For Just One Day story if they have not heard it before. Review paint tools.Take picture when done. Shift-Command-4)
3. TSW create an animal on Build your wild self. (Listen to Where the wild things are if they have not heard it before. Take picture when done. Shift-Command-4)
4. TSW listen to  story Spicy Hot then TSW create a color book select a color and then draw any object object using kerpoof such as red-apple, brown-bear, yellow-sun. The teacher will take a picture of the finished color page and place on desktop.(Shift-command-4)
5. When finished with with three pictures Teacher will put on a PowerPoint...
